My favorite Smoothie to make at the moment...
Smoothies are something that are part of my life weekly and I love trying different combinations of veggies and fruit together. When I find some thing that I really like I usually stick with it for a little while, until I come up with some thing new. Several weeks ago on my IG (@glitzandglambytiff) I shared one of my favorite smoothies to make, and it has been my go to lately. Check it out below!!
Ingredients:
Ice
Banana
Chia seeds
Plain Oats (this helps to stay full longer)
Plant based protein (I like Olly Nutrition brand. They have a few flavors to choose from.)
Green Superfood powder (I like the Amazing Grass brand)
Unsweetened Cocoa or Cacao powder
Spirulina
Spinach (Sometimes I will add Kale too or do just one)
Almond Milk
**Sometimes I add almond or peanut butter it depends on how I feel that day
-Tip: If you like you smoothies thick freeze your fruit!! Sometimes I will also freeze my spinach if it’s on it’s way to being no good. It helps to preserve it for a little while longer.
This smoothie is packed with a ton of vitamins and helps me to get through the day in between meals!!!
