Dibs Beauty - Jam Jam Lip Plumping Lipstick Melt: Review and Tryon

Dibs Beauty just launched their Jam Jam Lip Plumping Lipstick Melts the other day, and I have a chance to get my hands on a few of the colors to try out before the launch. The lipstick melts are a luxe moisturizing buildable balm with a slight plumping spice. They come in 6 different colors… Blueberry Ice, Rhubarb Pie, Fig Fantasy, Raspberry Marmalade, Jam Sesh and First Date. The lip formula has castor oil, peptides and hyaluronic acid. There is a light pleasant scent that is not overwhelming, I personally didn’t notice it once I put it on.

I received 3 of the colors (fig fantasy, first date and raspberry marmalade) to try out and I absolutely love how comfortable they are on the lips. They are definitely buildable, so if you want a little bit of color you can sheer them out or apply more on top for more of a pop. They are also great with a lip liner, if you want to have a bit more defined lip look. The color is pretty long lasting!! I wore the color first date the other day with a lip liner… filmed a couple of content videos, took a dance class and after a couple of hours noticed I still had a bit of color on and my lips felt nice and moisturized. That’s pretty amazing if ask me. I’m excited to keep testing out and wearing these lipstick melts. I think if you like a buildable balm with really good ingredients that are going to help treat your lips while you wear them, then you will love these.

Below I have shared a video of me trying on the colors I received, and photos where you can see some details and packaging. Keep scrolling…

In my video on youtube, you can hear my thoughts and see what the colors look like on my skin tone. My skin tone is in the middle brown shades and I am pretty neutral. With buildable balms it’s always so interesting to see how different they can look on everyone.

I love the super sleek and simple packaging…

How the colors look on me…

Fig Fantasy - is a nude mauve pink, that is a bit too light on me by itself, but I know with a liner it will be a nice color nude that I am usually in to.

Raspberry Marmalade - is a pretty cherry red tone. I like that it is a soft and light flush of red that you can make a bit darker if your choose.

First Date - is my personal fave. It is a nice brown tone that I think is perfect on brown skin. You can make it a bit deeper with a liner or just wear it alone. I love this color for an everyday look.
