DIY Photo Collage Cork Board

I am switching it up again a little here… during the last few months and during quarantine I have been doing little projects at home. I re decorated my room recently and decided to DIY a few things as well. One project that I worked on was a photo collage cork board.

I decorated this cork board I believe in High School, and I just started piling on photos and different little things ever since. It kind of turned in to an organized mess, and it definitely needed a new look. I had collected a few ideas from pinterest, and then got to work.

Here is where some of my inspiration came from (below)

This is a look at what the board looked like before I re designed it (below)

This board honestly didn’t cost me anything to make, because I had everything at home already. But, I will list everything below so you know what I used and I hope it inspires you to create your own decorative board.

Materials that I used to create my board:

There is honestly no right or wrong way to decorate for this project. Have fun and see what inspires you.

Below is how my board came out after I re decorated it. I used personal photos of fun recent memories and used magazine cut outs to spell out inspirational and positive words that describe me in my life. I used thumb tacks to hold the photos and magazine cut outs on the board, and if I decide to change out anything it will be easy to switch it up later.

I recorded my process, so you can see more in detail what I did and how I created my board below.

I like the way how the board turned out and have been using more time lately to get inspired to and create in different ways. I know a lot of us are at home right now, but don’t let it stop you from working on side projects and digging in to the creative parts of your life. Get out there and try some thing that you have never tried before.

I will be sharing more on how I re decorated my room soon, and where I bought everything from.
