Event Recap: Ladies Night Out - The Modern Day Wife x Modern Luxury San Diego x Fem X Quarters

When I first started my blog (so many years ago), I use to do a ton of event recaps and reviews. I want to get back to that and share with yall fun events that happen around town that I am able to attend, share restaurant reviews and so much more!!

In September I had a chance to attend Ladies Night Out, that was put on by A Modern Day Wife. The ladies partnered with Modern Luxury San Diego and Fem X Quarters to bring together the biggest event that I have been to in a while in San Diego. Literally everyone who is anyone was at the event and it was so great to see and reconnect with tons of people that I haven’t seen in the past year or 2 (Seriously).

A Modern Day Wife has been on tour all year going to different cities bringing tons of different events together, where attendees have the opportunity to network, shop from local vendors and connect with local businesses. Check out their website HERE to see what events they have coming up next.

At the event in San Diego it included different panels, where ladies talked about different topics like, skin care, business, and finances. There were quite a few vendors to shop from, there was a fashion show, tons of photo op spots with photo booths and lounge areas to chat with and connect with others. I honestly didn’t get to check out any of the vendors, because I was so busy chatting. Going to events is always great for me, because connecting with people in person has help me so much with navigating the fashion industry. It’s not enough to just talk to people online in my personal opinion. I think that no matter what industry you are in being able to chat with others one on one helps to build better connections and relationships.

Some fun event photos… It’s so hard to get photos with everyone!!! I saw so many amazing ladies that I haven’t seen in so long. It was so good to see everyone!!

The Goodie Bag…

At the event I was asked to be a co host, which just meant that I was part of the marketing and helped to get the word out about what was going on. Part of being a co host, I received a VIP ticket, which included a goodie bag.

It the bag I received ton of full size items and samples for different brands and companies. The bag was HEAVY!!
