Style Swap Haul and Recap

So... Fashion Week San Diego is over and I have to back track just a little bit to events that happened right before... I will talk all about Fashion Week in an upcoming post don't worry, but right now I want to talk about an exciting event that I was a blogger for called Sip Shop Swap (In September). You may have seen my post about the event before it came up, and there were a lot of people who asked me questions about what a Swap was and what they had to do. A Style Swap is where you bring Gently used items, or items that maybe you have never worn before to the event. Everyone brought at least 5 items (I brought 2 bags). Its a great way to clean out your closet, and also get some New Pieces for nothing at all (Yes for FREE)!!! It's a fun way to see others style and shop till you drop!!!

This style Swap was hosted by Ayana of The Thrifting Diva along side a couple of other Style Bloggers including Myself, Bianca of The In Between Girls, Cy of Any 2nd Now and Ashley of Array of Style (We were the co hosts) and it was at Miss Match Boutique in Coronado. I love Miss Match!! They have awesome stylish pieces and I had done a shoot for them before, so it was exciting to come back and hang out and shop in their store! They gave everyone 30% off during the event, so there was a lot of Shopping and Swapping going on all night!!! All of the items that were not swapped were given to Charity.

Not only was there Shopping, there was Sipping a lot of Sipping... Endless cups of Bubbly flowed and as the night went on let me tell you things definitely got interesting and we all had way too much fun!!!

This was my first Swap event and I hope that I will be able to attend more in the future. It was a different kind of shopping experience, and I enjoyed being able to swap looks with other fashionistas!!!
