My Favorite Non - Dairy Brands
One thing I want to share more of here, are my lifestyle choices and what I like to eat. A lot of people around me make a ton of assumptions about my eating habits and diet, which I think are hilarious!! One thing that I do want to say first about that is that it is ok to be conscious of what you are eating and putting in to your body. It is ok to try different lifestyle/ diet plans and see what works for you. Our bodies are all made differently and tolerate things in different ways. I take things in and out of my personal diet and life all the time. Life is all about experimenting and learning along the way!! Also I am not a doctor, so do your own research and don’t take my word as gold!!
With that being said…
I personally quit Dairy a few years ago, and it has been the best decision I have ever made!!! A lot of people assume that I am vegan, since I don’t eat dairy, which is completely False!! Don’t get me wrong I do love eating vegan, which I do a lot… but I still eat Chicken, Eggs and Seafood in very small doses. I am more of a conscious eater and I really pay attention to what I am eating and how it makes my body feel. Your body tells you everything that you need to know if you pay attention to it. Think about that the next time you eat something and your stomach starts to hurt, or you have a weird reaction to something. With taking dairy out of my life I had to find alternatives that taste as good if not better than regular dairy, so I didn’t miss it so much. In the time that we are in now it is pretty easy. There are so many great brands out right now and tons of DIYs that you can make yourself. I get excited every time I try something new and there are so many great recipes that I have been trying lately as well, which I have been sharing here on the blog and on instagram (@glamlifebytiff)

So Delicious - This is for all of the ice cream lovers out there. So Delicious is honestly my all time favorite non dairy brand for dessert. There are others out there that I do like, but this is definitely a go to!! I love that they have a variety of flavors and style of desserts like “ice cream” bars and sandwiches. Even if you do eat dairy, I highly recommend you try if you are looking for an alternate option.
Daiya - Has been my go to for cheese, cream cheese and even pizza. Daiya has an amazing variety of all different style of cheeses that work well for all kinds of recipes. The cheddar style slices make a bomb grilled cheese!!! I’m just say’n!! I know that non dairy cheese can be strange at first and you honestly have to experiment and figure out what works best for you.
Miyoko’s - Has been a go to brand for cream cheese. I love me a good bagel with cream cheese and the Miyoko’s brand has some of the creamiest vegan cream cheese ever!! or at least that I have tried so far. I typically just stick to the plain classic and it is good enough for me. It spreads just like regular dairy cream cheese yall! You will not miss the real thing.
I know that trying new things and changing your diet can be super hard and really scary, but some times it is time for a change. I personally took dairy out of my diet because my body honestly started to reject it and my skin was taking a hit because of it as well. I slowly started to replace and take out some of my favorite things and noticed so many changes for the better with in my body. I wanted to share this because maybe you are one of those people that are out there that wants to find a way to replace dairy in your diet and don’t know where to start. I hope that these few brands help. I am always on the look out for other brands to try as well, so I look forward to sharing more brands later in another post.
