Brunch at The Nolen

I don't know if I have shared this on the blog yet, but I love to eat!!! Food is amazing and when I get opportunities to try new things I get super excited!!! A couple of weekends ago I was invited to The Nolen to try out their Sunday brunch menu, and I had an amazing time!

The Nolen is a roof top lounge/bar in downtown with amazing views of the city. It is like an on top of the world escape in the middle of every thing. They serve a daily menu, great cocktails and of course brunch on Sundays!!! You can check out their full menu here .

So here's what was on the tasting menu...

Beer Braised Short Rib Tot Hash

short rib | carmalized shallots | roasted red pepper | fried egg | white cheddar | jus reduction

Chilaquiles Verde

fried egg | tomatillo salsa | queso fresco | red onion | cilantro

Carnitas Benedict

pork carnitas | poached egg | white cheddar polenta cake | avocado salsa | hollandaise

last but not least...

Breakfast B.L.T.A

bacon | arugula | kumato tomato | fried egg | avocado | chipotle aioli | guacamole | sourdough

I had my first Bloody Mary ever!!! I thought it was pretty good and The Nolen has different interesting options for their bloody drinks.

Also their mimosas have a variety of flavored house made shrubs that are very tasty!!

Drinks all around!!!! Literally... the mimosas were ENDLESS!

If you are looking for a new place to try on Sunday, check out The Nolen rooftop!!! Great food, cocktails and an amazing view... you will not be disappointed!!!
