NYDJ Fall 2017 ad campaign

Some pretty cool things have happened this summer!!! For one... I was in an ad campaign in Oprah Magazine for NYDJ, which was soooo unexpected!! Ahhhh I'm still cheesing from all of the excitement! Any way here's how it all came about. NYDJ did a tour in April in 3 different cities where they had women all heights, ages and different sizes come and get fitted in a pair of jeans. Oh but it didn't stop there... actually a whole glam session happened!! Each person that showed up got hair and makeup done and had the opportunity to be part of a photo shoot, and from the tour that is how they decided which photos they were going to use for their fall ad. 

I was contacted by the PR who were helping to put the tour together and was asked to come out to the fit event in San Diego. I actually was not very familiar with NYDJ before all of this, so I didn't know what to expect. I also didn't know if I would know any other bloggers, but my friends Kali and Kara were contacted as well, so it was cool to be part of this experience with them. We shot photos individually, and did some group photos as well. The jeans have an amazing fit by the way!!! Super comfortable and they have a great stretch to them as well!! There is also several styles to choose from, so they may just have the perfect jean just for you.

We were able to see some of the photos that were taken during the shoot. They were posted on a big wall and it was fun to see different shots from everyone at the event.

Towards the end of July early August we all found out that we made the ad!!! I was so excited, because I didn't expect it and also I have always wanted to be in an ad in a popular magazine. I was in Oprah!!!! 

The ad appeared in the August issue of O Mag.
